A project years in the making, this remodel/addition turned into a complete transformation of the entire existing residence. The original home was in a wonderful location, but was a mess of odd design choices, multiple levels with dangerous steps throughout the home, low window headers that blocked the view, and an overall dated feel. It was a pleasure to reimagine this space, and we worked closely with the homeowners to help them articulate a fully bespoke vision for their forever home. A spacious kitchen with a panorama water view, a 14’ bank of exterior full-lite pocket doors, a covered 4-season outdoor kitchen/grill and living area, and a transformation of the primary suite brought this home into the modern era. It is always a joy to visit with the homeowners after the huge process of planning and decision making, and see them beaming with pride and love for their custom home. While much of our work is focused on new-construction, good remodel/addition projects have their own unique magic.
